Players involved: commanderhorvat, Achera
Characters involved: Nebula, Lyanna Spiritfell
Setting: West Sleibte, Gathors maw/Naminoishi Mountain range, Wyvern Royal Castle
Time: Mid-afternoon
Weather: Grey and cloudy.

Her royal Majesty, Nebula lay in her roost. It was originally a natural cave with a stunning view that was lost on her but she had been told it could take ones breath away. The vast cavern itself was without any visually appreciable decor. Statues, paintings and things of that ilk severed no purpose to its resident. Instead sets of chimes and pipes set at the mouth of the cave played a constant shifting melody carried by the wind and small gardens with a carefully curated aromas were strewn about the space. In The center of the room, where she currently lay curled in her dragon form, was dug into a amphitheatre-like debate hall, steps suitable for creatures of her size lining the curved sides and a central floor of sand.
As always, her hall was open for any who wished to speak to her and debate existence or any philosophical pursuit, tho like usual, no one had arrived for a while. She passed the time debating with herself and observing the shifts and flows of the Vitka around her. She liked to keep several elemental stone of each variety on hand, making use of her telekinesis to move them to change the flow of Vitka in order to create art pieces only she and a select few could ever percieve.

It had been a relatively normal day. Nothing out of the ordinary except for the dull appearance of the world. Nothing but emptiness as the small creature made her way through the mountains. Now why would a kitsune who loved to mess with other creatures go to such an isolated area? There had been word about a dragon queen who had her castle open to visitors. Apparently, the dragon loved to have different sorts of debates with anyone who would come through the lands. How odd to have a kingdom open for anyone, especially the capital of the territory. The very thought behind this while the other dragons, demons, angels, and more decided against this tactic. It was exactly why she was here.

The girl came from the east, slowly making her way other the mountains to get into Ganthor's Maw. It wasn't too long before she was near the opening to the Waveryn Royal Castle. Was she supposed to go in or wait for someone to escort her inside? Lyanna waited for a moment, before giving a small, "Hello? Anyone there?"

She roused from her contemplation as a new vitka source approached the castle, the thought of someone to converse with made her tail kick up some sand before she calmed down. Acting as regal as she could she rose and began quickly walking in a very non regal manner towards the entrance, following the textured floor was no longer necessary to finding her way, though she found it let her mind wander a bit more. Who might this guest be? Based on the vitka, it was no dragon she knew, it was far too playful, too vulpine. As she reached the entry hall she called out, her usual call measured voice giving way ever so slightly to her excitement.

"Yes, I am here. All the other anyone is out currently or are busy. Who is this anyone I am speaking to?" Several glowing orbs, their light a shifting and ethereal light purple, seeming to take the place of her knees and parts of her tail. This endowed her tails movements a disjointed movement, one segment moving with little regards to the movement of the others.

The girl watched as a faint glow started to come from a hall. It wasn't too long before she say the bright, gleaming lights of the orbs circling around their owner. The light shined beautifully amongst the near black scales, giving off the orbs' own reflections. A massive dragon. One whom she had not seen in a long time having spent most of her time around those near her size and less likely to crush her with a single claw. Her body gave a small twitch, making up for the lack of ears or tail that would have normally given a reaction in this kind of environment.

"I see. This anyone is Lyanna Spiritfell," the vixen replied, picking up on how the dragon responded to her. Lyanna would have to be careful with how she worded things around this one, or she could always have a little fun. I mean, how often do you get to have a wonderful word play with a royal dragon of all creatures? "And how should I address you going forward?"

The guests reaction brought Nebula back into the moment as she remembered the unease that smaller races felt around dragons, something she had not had to account for regularly. Her caution evaporated, however, when the Vitka became playful once again and a smile spreading across her face at the quick retort.

"Well tradition and proper etiquette would dictate that I be referred to as her Royal Majesty Nebula, ruler of Gaoth." With that, she stood to her full height, wings extending to display all of their brilliance before she quickly sank back down, ending the quick mock display of majesty. "That, however is only the construct of my kind. By a different tradition and etiquette I am to be referred to as Night Sky, the great teacher. Both are constructed by others, both are true in their own ways and false in others. Anyone is just as fitting a moniker. Come, I have a place I believe you might find more comfortable. than this bland stone room."

The entry way was in no way bland. Rather it was decorated with statues of past rules, great braziers, currently unlit sat along it's length and at the end of the hall upon a dais was a large ornamented resting place as a throne. All the gold scrolling and colorful mosaics were lost on the host however, so she began to walk back the way she came, gesturing for her guest to follow.

Lyanna watched in confusion as the royal gave her small speech with a little flashy gesture to boost. It wasn't an everyday occurrence for a royal of any species to mock the title they were given by birthright or even by their general name. From what she gathered, her name was Nebula but was indifferent to what the guest would call her. It didn't matter to the vixen. If her majesty wanted to be called Anyone, then Anyone it shall be.

Before the playful fox followed her royal majesty, she took a look around the room in confusion. It was a room well suited for nobility and was more than ornate in decor. Why would she call such a room bland? Her loss of sight may have been the reason, but the fox questioned if that was really the reality of the situation and there was a much more extravagant room to converse in or it was really as simple as that: the queen was blind.

"As you wish, Anyone," the girl replied as she followed after the dragon making sure to stay well behind her tail for fear of getting knocked unintentionally.

Nebula chuckled at the quick response as she wandered back to her room, following the textured floor. After a few minutes of silence, and when they were nearly at her chambers, she replied.
"It is ultimately a question of how you define the self. For many, that self is a mixture of unexplored definitions and assumptions. Some of these are based in an assumption that reality is just what they observe and that it is the same for all. How would you describe a rainbow?"
