Personality
Off. Zaeren is in fact off in the head and in the way he acts. One might notice that if they stay with him for a while. It is almost as if he is slightly addicted to the hunt and enjoys the feelings it gives him. Off in the way he sees things at times, but that could just be an influence of his upbrining. Mostly he is sane and okay.
Isolationist. He does not enjoy the company of others very much and often keeps to himself even in his own clan. True, he does work with them at times, but mostly he goes about his own life and does what he is told by their mother.
Calm Yes, he is calm. He does manage to keep his mind about him. True, he has a wicked sense of humor during that time, but he does manage to analyze the environment he is in quite well. Mostly will just twitch the corner of his lip at a joke and walk off. It is not that he found the joke amusing, but he rather that he is keeping a level head not having much patience for jokes.
Cold or cold-blooded? Not cold, as he does have feelings and does feel for others at times, but cold-blood, yes. He will kill when told not matter who it is and enjoys it, but each kill is different for him. He remembers almost everyone he kills and how he killed them.
Appearance
Light tanned skin and reddish-brown tattoos are two of the most easily recognizable features of Zaeren. The tattoos run from the back of his hands, to his forearms, biceps, and met at the back of his neck by going across his shoulder blades. His eyes being a metallic medium blue, and hair being blonde fringes in the front with a hint of brown while the rest is a dark black that was cut short. The hood of the cloaks he wears which also help to cover the tattoos on the back of his neck and shoulder blades. His body is built to show his power and is one of the reasons why he is not as fast as one might think. Instead he is more of the warrior assassin that likes hand to hand combat over sneak attacks.
He mostly wears a leather shoulder pad on his left arm that crosses over to make leather padding for the right rib cage padding. The padding is not armor though, but instead something that is used to hold his blades on his back where a large sheath can be found. Zaeren also wears two arm bracers made of leather that also work as a glove that cuts off where the fingers come out at. Two straps of leather are used to hold the bracers on. Another notable accessory of his is two small silver earrings in his right ear.
On the other hand, his swords are slightly different from the usual ones that can be found in the market. They were hand-crafted by the Tarsian and have metal handles on the sides instead of on the end. That way he can use one in each hand which supports his ambidextrous skill. The twin swords both have jagged edges on all sides for more brutal attacks and to make the kill a clean one at best, but mostly just for more effective killing.
Besides the hood of a light brown cloak and the leather ‘armor’, he does wear light brown pants, and leather boots to give him somewhat more of an edge for when he does need to stalk his prey.
Abilities:
Somewhat resistance to magic, but seems to have an anti-magic property. He can make it disappear completely or he can make magic do the opposite of what the caster wanted like his brethren.

Abilities:
He possesses the ability to read minds. He's quite skilled at chipping down most mental blocks (while maintaining his own, of course), and only a few have ever been able to avoid his telepathy. Though for these few individuals Rah-juh is able to get basic thoughts and emotions from them. In addition to this, Rah-juh holds the ability of mind control, further adding to the danger. While this ability can be resisted it's incredibly difficult for others to ignore his verbal suggestions. He rarely fully takes over another's mind and body, as it takes away all the fun.
Rah-juh also holds several kitsune abilities. He's gifted with illusions, though not to the point where he'd lose a tail should one be seen through. His primary element is spirit, which he crafted and shaped into the ability of telepathy and mind control, a "gift" from his Siren of a mother.
To make up for this lack of offensive element use, Rah-juh is specialized in several arts. He can pick locks, craft poisons, and is skilled with weapons. His weapons of choice are projectiles, often laced with poison. He's stealthy and surprisingly fast for a man of his size.
Appearance:
As a human, Rah-juh is devilishly handsome, and he knows it. With his square jaw, broad shoulders, and chiseled physique, the man has been mistaken for a model before. He has that rugged, yet graceful air about him that seems to drive women crazy, and he’s not afraid to use it to his advantage. He stands at six feet two inches tall, and weighs in at about one-hundred and eighty pounds. His skin is a delicious olive tone, and he becomes particularly tan in the summer months. His jaw is square, and occasionally he will have a small amount of stubble on his face. This is rare, since the man likes being clean shaven. His narrow, slightly upward slanting eyes are a deep black color that reflect whatever emotion the man decides to portray. They can hold anything from laughter to homicidal mania.
For a man, Rah-juh takes incredibly good care of his hair. His locks are a charcoal black that shows hints of gold in strong light. His hair is thick, and falls in loose, layered strands. He prefers to keep it long, and tastefully so, with the back usually falling to the nape if his neck while leaving his bangs to frame, and occasionally hang, in his face if he so desires.
His style could be called eccentric. Rah-juh is almost always found wearing a heavy black roquelaire (fancy talk for a knee length cloak), which is tattered towards the bottom from years of wear. It is held together at the neck with a gold clasp engraved with an intricate pattern of swirls. This roquelaire is essential to his escapades, since the inside contains his tools of the trade. Lock picking tools, several knives, a dagger or two (or twenty), a mirror, and smoke bombs, just to name a few. There is a reason his roquelaire is heavy. Underneath this Italian cloak, Rah wears whatever he fancies, usually a grey tunic, black trousers, and soft leather boots He's armed to the teeth, and has several belts, buckles, and pockets on her person. Aside from his unusual sense of dress, Rah-juh is always armed to the teeth, with several knives of different sorts being hidden somewhere on his person. He can be portrayed with black fox ears and eight black tails (tipped with white), but he often prefers to appear completely human to hide his kitsune nature.
As a kitsune, Rah-juh is a dark black. His pelt starts blackest black at his back and along his neck, and gradually fades into a dark sort of charcoal grey down by his belly. There is a line of metallic silver fur between his snow white belly, which begins at the jaw and down to his groin, and his black pelt. This metallic silver also swirls delicately over his pelt, particularly on his face, paws, and tail. His eyes are just as dark as they are in his human form, though sometimes they gleam silver. He has eight incredibly bushy tails, all tipped white.
Personality:
Rah-juh is not a man you want to meet in a dark alley, unless you happen to be in the need of someone of his particular... talents.
Rah has a charm about him that not only affects women; it affects everyone he talks to. He is incredibly social, and for good reason. In his line of work, knowing when to play your cards and when to make friends can be a lifesaver--quite literally, at time. He puts up a gentlemanly, albeit flamboyant, front to hide his true intentions. He is fairly good at reading people, and when combined with his ability to read minds this makes him incredibly good at seeking out weaknesses.
The man loves control. Absolutely no part of his personality is submissive. He is the dominant party, and always refers to himself as such. He always tries to be three steps ahead of the competition, so that he can adjust things to turn out in his favor. He is the chess master, and people are his pawns. Rah has little regard for the safety of others outside of his employer or immediate circle. He is rather impulsive, although he does regain some form of control, and has a smile that can turn blood to ice. He has few people that he cares about, and won’t hesitate to switch sides in the middle of battle if things seem like they won’t end up in his favor. With a constant need to be entertained, boredom is his worst enemy, and if he fails to be amused he will find something to do. And more often than not it is unimaginably destructive to either property or people. He can often be reckless, putting himself in harm's way for the sake of a good time. Even this has its limits, as he is a firm believer in "He who fights and runs away lives to fight another day". Should Rah-juh find himself outclassed or outmatched he will quickly turn tail and flee to preserve his own life.
While generally a seedy character, Rah is not completely without morals. He will never turn on a client, nor will he take jobs that involve the slaughter of children. He lives in a constant fear of inflicting harm on close friends, limiting his relationships outside of a professional setting. He still struggles with the demons of his past, and while trying to be an at least half-decent person, Rah still finds himself struggling.
History:
Rah-juh was born to a prostitute who never wanted him. She resented him, because for nine months he kept her out of work. In addition to that, her finances were already strained. The addition of a child strained her budget even more. The first five years of Rah-juh's life was filled with abuse, torture, and neglect. He was beaten in drunken rages, auctioned off to the highest bidder on a weekly basis, and sexually abused. Often this was the only time when he would be fed regularly. One night his mother returned home in a drunken stupor and began to beat him senseless with a liquor bottle. Rah-juh, terrified for his life, ran.
The five-year-old hid in the rain, begging for food in the nearest city he could get to. He was fortunately found by a thief named Drake, who took the boy in and taught him everything he knows. He remembered nothing of who he was, only a name; Rah's mind had blocked out the torment and abuse he suffered at the hands of his mother. Rah-juh lived in peace for many years, often tending to the other orphans Drake took in. Everything was sunshine and rainbows until Drake left one day and never returned. Rah waited for months, caring for the orphans as Drake had, but he could only wait so long. Rah-juh eventually left his home and traveled the realm, stealing to get by.
After many, many centuries Rah-juh began to make a name for himself. Life had made him cold and ruthless. To cement his own power, he began a guild of thieves. Though as time passed the numbers of his group began to dwindle as his members died, his own life longer than their own. It has gone without saying that Rah-juh has earned every single one of his eight tails, and still aims higher.

Apperance
Domentain's head and wings are like those of an eagle, his beak curved and sharp and his wings large and well-suited for aerial maneuvers. The rest of him is built like a tiger, powerfully muscled and well-balanced. His large ears are pointed, much like a cat's, and Domentain's body is covered in thick fur, which tapers off at the tail but returns at the tip in a large tuft.
Domentain is a swirl of color, the mixture of red, black, and white blending in a complex array of markings. His beak is white, with a thin black stripe running across each side and ending under his red eye. A black stripe, lined on either side first by red then white stripes, runs down the center of his head. Smaller black stripes are visible under his eyes, and Domentain's ears are white with an upward red stripe at the base and tipped black.
The black coloration thickens at the back of his neck, mirrored by the black that runs down his throat and down to his chest. The stripe on his throat is fenced in by red on both sides of his neck, which itself is cut through by the white that travels down from his head to end at a point in front of his shoulder.
Starting from his neck, curving black stripes run along Domentain's body, stemming from a main, thick black stripe that runs down the center of each side, all the way to his completely black tail. Thicker, winding red markings flow underneath the black like rivulets of blood, and his underbelly is fully red. The remaining spaces are white in color, flecked again with splashes of red.
All four of Domentain's feet are red to the first joint, tipped with black claws. Thick black stripes surround the upper half of his front legs, while a central stripe runs down the fronts of his hind legs, from which a few smaller stripes deviate.
Most of Domentain's upper wings are white, though red flecks line the front of the wings. His marginal, primary, and secondary coverts as well as his alula are tipped black. Domentain's long primaries and secondaries are also tipped black, but a thin red stripe preceedes the black coloration. On his secondaries, a red dot marks each feather directly above the red stripe as well, and on his primaries, the leading edge of the wing sports a triangular red stripe that is bordered by black right above the red line.
Personality
Protector is one of the best ways to describe the great white. He was once not so much as he had condemned not only his family, but his flock to danger before. Now he has nothing but compassion for those that are living and those that are sick. He knows life is hard having lost his mortality a while back. It was a gift and a curse to him, and now he seeks to use his new powers to help those in need. He also loves to watch over the chicks and to watch them grow.
Compassionate towards those that are to weak to defend themselves. It is one of his jobs to help those in needs to pay a debt that is too deep for him to ever hope to see the end of. To try to come to terms with what he has done in the past he tries to see the good in all.
Sorrowful not only in how he acts, but his expression often reflects his inner pain. All those souls that he knows are gone, never at rest, and dead for good. Knowing he was one of the reasons and wanting to fix it has caused him a great mental pain. He knows it is his fault because he agreed to the price. He just never knew how big it was.
Abilities
Fire He is known for his ability of fire. This was one of the few things that allowed him to be free from the demon within him as a child and as well kept the mergence from being permeant.
Soul-reaping was one of the trades he learns. It is something he doesn't like to admit he can do. It makes his body into a spirit like being itself composed of only magic to accomplish this. The only reason he is able to do this is from his spirit being so tainted by Morion's dark one.
Healing is something he does more often then the others. He likes to help others and healing the soul or the body is something he does very well since he has learned to take the soul. It took practice but he finally learned how to heal both. He just perfers to only heal the soul as a last resort because it may prove to cause more harm then good in some cases.
Spirit Magic is the main power behind both the soul-reaping and the healing, but the spirit magic isn't natural. It was created through cruel means and then Domentain gained it from a demon child that been entrapped in his body for a small period of time when he was a child himself. He has no idea what it truly is past a dark passenger that is now a part of him.

Species: Appears to be a Kelahati, and though this is unknown to her, she's a sphinx
Abilities:
Brianna primarily fights with tooth, claw, and bow. Well, she used to, up until she gained spirit weapons. These weapons, twin daggers carved of black obsidian, are named Danae and Kazae. Representing polar opposites, each dagger has its own unique abilities.
Danae, the dagger of hell, represents the moon, night, death, darkness, femininity, water, and wind. She takes the form of a black and silver kitsune, and while as a dagger she rests at Brianna's left. She is brutal, snarky, cruel, and often sadistic. Danae is a firm practitioner of black humor and schadenfreude, and laughs at the pain and misfortune of others. She has a sharp, acidic tongue and is completely self centered, impatient, and rude. Alone, Danae bestows upon Brianna the ability to kill with a single touch of the dagger.
Kazae, the dagger of heaven, represents the sun, day, life, light, masculinity, fire, and earth. He takes the form of a great white lion with a golden mane, and while as a dagger he rests at Brianna's right. He is patient, kind, generous, and more of a listener than a talker. The polar opposite of his counterpart, he has incredibly firm morals, and is quick to forgive and turn the other cheek. Alone, Kazae allows Brianna to resurrect the dead.
They both share a strong desire to protect and serve Brianna, and know more about her than they claim to. And while they try to serve as guides to their wayward master, the daggers find themselves at war with both each other and Brianna's very nature, for reasons unknown to all three.
The two are meant to be used together, as they balance each other out. If used apart the consequences are dire. Brianna will either lose her memories, fall into a deep sleep, or, ultimately, die. She is currently unaware of these powers.
The daggers have awakened Brianna's latent magical abilities. Up until she discovered them, Brianna was entirely unaware she could use magic. She has a great affinity for light and dark magic, though this is currently unknown to her. Through the daggers she has minor control over the base elements of earth, fire, water, and air. It is unknown if she'll develop more magical mastery as time progresses, but she shows incredible potential.
Brianna is incredibly good with a bow, though her track record for keeping them is awful. Her current bow is of fine elven craftsmanship, and a deep chocolate color engraved with gold designs. Her arrows are hand made, a craft she taught herself, and the fletching is comprised of feathers in varying shades of green
Personality:
Brianna is an incredibly kind, generous person. She has a seemingly endless capacity to love and forgive, even if she's been wronged before. While she's generally a people pleaser willing to sacrifice her own happiness for the people she loves, Brianna is not one to display this degree of selflessness to others. While she's incredibly helpful, and more than willing to help others in need, she will always have limits regarding the extent she'll go. However, once the threshold of friendship is crossed, Brianna will fight tooth and claw to keep her friends happy, regardless of the cost to herself. She often worries herself sick over her friends, often forgetting to eat and foregoing sleep. She is quick to blame herself for things well out of her control, because she’d much rather have feelings of hostility directed at her than at the people she loves. Brianna can be rather needy, and at sometimes clingy, due to her fear of being abandoned by the people she loves. In spite of this she is a strong, relatively independent, self-sufficient woman, but some part of her will always crave socialization. She's a people person at heart, and does not handle silence well.
A highly emotional person, Brianna wears her heart on her sleeve. She says what she feels, and it's rare for her to mask feelings behind a smile. She will, however, hide behind a smile when the situation demands it or when she doesn't want to talk about a certain subject. Her eyes always hold the truth, if one knows her well enough to see it. Brianna is not one to cry or show signs of weakness or pain, and often laughs when sad or nervous as a last ditch attempt to make herself feel better. She bottles up negative feelings until she cracks. Brianna fears being helpless and useless to those around her, and wears a brave, confident mask, hoping that one day she can be as strong as she desires to be. While she's usually confident in herself, Brianna falters and cracks under stress, where she's quick to crumble and break down. She is, unfortunately, quick to tears if she feels overwhelmed. She's also a physical person, and expresses herself with body language and physical contact.
She has incredible drive to live life to its fullest. She has ambitions of making a difference, and in order to do so she knows she must become stronger. Her entire life has been an uphill battle, and a promise made to her dead mother fuels her drive to survive. She will not give up without a fight. This inherent stubbornness makes itself known in all aspects of her life. She is incredibly resourceful, and makes a point to always be prepared for anything. Years of living alone have rendered her social skills a little poor. While she rarely (intentionally) speaks out in ways that will hurt someone, sometimes her honesty can be a little brutal. Brianna's always willing to reach out and make friends, even in the most unlikely of places. Her exuberance and naturally bright personality light up a room.
Her biggest fears in life are fire, being eaten, and being abandoned by those she loves. She also fears that her poor conversational skills and occasional neediness will drive her friends away. Brianna, despite being young, wants to find the path she's meant to be on. She wants to be strong; to be the kind of person that would make her mother proud. Wandering down the wrong path and giving in to her own self-doubts are constant factors that eat away at her, and Brianna can only hope that she's resilient enough to keep pressing forward. She is no saint, no matter how hard to tries to be selfless, and can be incredibly selfish when she gives in to her inner demons.
Roleplay Sample:
Altair decided he didn't care for this stranger. True, he'd saved Brianna, but there was no need for him to boss Altair around like he was a child. Gods, how annoying, between the bossy vampire and Aeris about to shapeshift in the , he was ready to call it a day and walk off. Yet he gave a nod and picked up Brianna's cloak and the scroll tube she'd been carrying. He turned to leave when a bloodcurdling yowl drew him back.
The touch on her shoulder was unwelcome. The sound that tore out of her throat wasn't human, the sound fueling the strength behind the blow of her claws. Don't touch me! Brianna wanted to scream, but instead it was more feral yowling as her claws raked across Aeris' face and neck. Behind it was all the anger she felt at the kitsune who rendered her helpless, and the anger at herself for being unable to fight back. Immediately she recoiled an arm's length away from him, crouched on the ground with her back arched and pupils reduced to slits so thin it was as though her eyes had none at all, with another throaty yowl warning him away.

As soon as the blood stopped roaring in her ears, Brianna returned to her senses. The skin Aeris had touched was still warm--almost hot even. Her eyes welled with tears as her pupils dilated, and she rose from her feral crouch to her feet, as unsteady as they were.
She wanted to spit out an apology. The words were there in her head, but everything else froze and came to a standstill. Her heart thudded in her chest and each breath in was a struggle, her lungs fighting against an invisible crushing force. Brianna wanted to disappear. Gods, she wanted to hide and pretend none of this had happened but they all saw it.

Species: Eastern Dragon
Abilities: Aerithe commands control over the light element. She's gifted in the healing and defensive arts, but her spells can pack a punch when used offensively. She can create barriers as well as temporarily blind and stun opponents. Aerithe can also harden light into physical beams and projectiles, as well as heat it to cause burns. She's more prone to defensive tactics, favoring passive, nonviolent strategy. Her healing abilities can heal minor wounds and broken bones with little effort, but to heal major wounds is more taxing on her, eventually transferring the wounds onto herself.
While not particularly gifted in weapons or strength, Aerithe makes up for this in speed and magical ability. She is also intensely in tune with the world around her, and can sense subtle changes in weather due to the fluid filled gems on her body, which inform her of changes in atmospheric pressure. She can also survive off very little food, and her stamina in incredibly high. Aerithe can also hold her breath for long periods of time and dive deeply--her body can easily adjust to changes in pressure. She can use mindspeech in either form.
Personality:
As the product of good breeding and upbringing, Aerithe still holds many of the regal qualities expected of the next chieftain of her tribe. She carries herself with proper posture and holds her head high. As such, Aerithe is diplomatic and tactful. She often thinks before speaking, though now away from her confinements she's finding herself lapsing more into freer speech than was ever allowed of her before. She's kind, gentle, and patient, perhaps even motherly in some cases. Aerithe tries for compromise and peaceable solutions. Her kind are not warring people, and she is no exception to that.
While having been uptight in the past, again due to the constraints of her position in the tribe, Aerithe is much looser and less rigid now, and her light sense of humor is surfacing. She does, however, command respect and common courtesy to be shown to her, and she will not hesitate to jab back with a quick retort or witty remark. The woman can bite back if pushed far enough.
Aerithe is incredibly humble. She's been living in isolation, and while she enjoys company, the newfound freedom and liberation of being on her own is rather exhilarating. Though she often finds herself longing for some form of companionship. Aerithe is social, and still coming into her own. When entertaining, she is incredibly hospitable and will go out of her way for guests. She's also reliable in a pinch.
She prefers to wander across the realm, and when kept in one place for too long she become fidgety, nervous, and even a little ill tempered.

Brianna wanted to scream, but instead it was more feral yowling as her claws raked across Aeris' face and neck. Behind it was all the anger she felt at the kitsune who rendered her helpless, and the anger at herself for being unable to fight back. Immediately she recoiled an arm's length away from him, crouched on the ground with her back arched and pupils reduced to slits so thin it was as though her eyes had none at all, with another throaty yowl warning him away.

As soon as the blood stopped roaring in her ears, Brianna returned to her senses. The skin Aeris had touched was still warm--almost hot even. Her eyes welled with tears as her pupils dilated, and she rose from her feral crouch to her feet, as unsteady as they were.
She wanted to spit out an apology. The words were there in her head, but everything else froze and came to a standstill. Her heart thudded in her chest and each breath in was a struggle, her lungs fighting against an invisible crushing force. Brianna wanted to disappear. Gods, she wanted to hide and pretend none of this had happened but they all saw it.

HI I'm Casseopeia. Or Kila. You can call me Cass or Kila, it really doesn't matter because I'll answer to just about anything.
I'm 26 years old, have my degree in culinary arts, but due to an accident that left me disabled I now work as a freelance artist to pay my bills. Nifty where life takes you, yeah?
I'm a huge mythology buff, with my favorite mythical creature being the sphinx. Talk sphinxy to me. Please, I beg of you. I have a lot of other passions including space, slime, animals, reptiles (I love reptiles), writing, eating, video games--there's a lot. I consider myself pretty easy going, but I can be pretty shy/anxious because of my depression and GAD. PMs make me nervous, so sorry if it takes me a bit to answer them, but I always try and get back to everyone.
I love world building and creating species, and love using my creative outlets to continue building upon the worlds that I've already built.

Personality
Being a fletchling she has yet to show any dominate traits in her personality. For the most part she is still very dependent upon her parents and is often found sleeping or whining for food that she believes is long overdue. From what little has been seen though it does appear that she will be headstrong like her mother.
Appearance
A medium blue for the main color of her scales that are adorned with shades of blue and gold, while her mane is snowy white feathers. There are black spikes along her elbow and ankle join that stops just below both but the spikes point upwards making them appear to go further than they do. She has more spikes on the bottom and top of her tail and a few on the side of her hind legs at the calf muscle to protect them from being bitten. The other spikes are gold and are located on her forehead, jaw, side of her and tail. She has two large black horns on the top of her head that are solid black except for a small tip being yelling to match her golden horns.
Her belly armor is gold and unlike most dragons she has that same type of gold armor on other parts of her body. Under her feet, and going up her legs is the very same type of armor that is found on her belly that flares slightly outwards on the side of her legs. Along her wing arm the armor appears once more where it makes a diamond shaped patch on the wing forearm. She also has blue armor along the top of her calf muscle on her hind legs. This armor is typically just stronger scales that seem to reflect light more vividly then other scales.
The inner webbing of her wings are black. And at critical connection points to her body, they are strengthening by a slightly stronger scale that appears gold in an effort to keep the wings from being ripped off in a fight. These golden scales are flexible but add as an adhesion device. On the back of her wings she has a series of blue markings that seem to stretch across the whole wing.
Her markings are mostly shades of blue across her skin with the one exception being behind her purple eyes. There is golden almost wing design in that one postion.
Abilities
Her abilities have not fully come in yet as an individual. So far like most dragons, she has learned to breath fire, but it's more small little flickers. She cannot hold this breath for long and often just makes a small spark spray in most cases.

SUGGESTION ONE: GIANT BIRDS(FALCONS/EAGLES?) So, this thought originates from playing wood elves on Total War: Warhammer, where there are giant birds, maybe the size of horses, which can carry elves into battles. They are armored and really cool, I think they'd be neat to add. Most likely live in high large trees or mountains. I picture they'd be mainly tamed by Pren for war and defense, wild ones often could be found flying in the sky around the elven territories, native to Katakarthia. I'd like to use them personally as part of my army, lol. I am picturing a falcon-type bird in appearance though, if you have any other suggestions please tell.
