Abilities:

Her magic is actually very limited, and so Charlie prefers to fight with close combat. She's swift, strong, and skilled with her weapons. In addition to this, Charlie knows how to blend in to her surroundings. The little magic she does have can essentially render her invisible, though it does not prevent her from leaving footprints or from being covered in mud, earth, or other compounds.

Charlie's favorite weapons are a pair of matching daggers, crafted of black metal and set with vivid red rubies. The blades of these daggers are spiked, giving them a jagged and serrated appearance. These are less for cutting and more for tearing, causing deep bleeding wounds that will weaken her opponent. There are also special grooves in the blades in which poison can be delivered.

She has a natural resistance to poisons, and it takes extremely high doses to have a noticeable affect on her.

Appearance:

Charlie is absolutely stunning to behold. While physically small, being only a slight 5'1" tall and weighing a whopping 98 pounds soaking wet, she has a demure, nonthreatening appearance. Her peachy skin has warm yellow undertones, and is absolutely flawless save for one scar on her face. This scars runs down over her right eye, all the way down to her jaw, with another, more jagged scar crossing from the apple of her cheek down to her mouth. She was lucky enough to keep the sight in her eye, and looks upon this scar with disdain, though she does nothing to cover it up. Her eyes are a blood orange, a color shared by her hair. Her hair is kept straight and short in a shoulder-length bob, with straight cut bangs covering her forehead. She keeps part of her hair tied up into a bun, adorned with a golden butterfly clip.

She wears little to no clothing, with her standard wear being a charcoal grey-blue color that covers her chest and neck while remaining sleeveless. A red leather guard covers her breasts, giving her heart some protection. A mask covers her nose and mouth, and from the back of this mask trail two scarves, which she can control at will. Her forearms are covered by long gloves that leave her fingers bare, and match the leggins she wears. Her torso is left bare, and on her legs she wears skin tight leggings in the same color as her crop top. The left thigh has three horizontal dusty orange stripes, and the right legging has spiraling red stripes down the leg until the legging fades into red at the mid-calf. She wears open toed sandals that flare out at the ankle, and they contain three poisoned blades that can be unsheathed with a kick.

Her true form is a mystery to her, as she's never once taken it.

The animal forms she takes are that of a grizzly bear, a cobra, a sparrow, and a manticore. All of her forms are unusually pale, with those bright eyes of hers.

Personality:

While she looks demure and submissive, Charlie is anything but. She's confident in herself and her abilities, and has a playful demeanor unusual for war demons. She enjoys killing, and treats it like a game. She revels in torture and poking at the weaknesses of her victims. Bordering on cocky, it's this aspect of Charlie's personality that got her that scar. She learned not to overestimate her own abilities, nor the underestimate those of her opponents. She learned this lesson the hard way, and is reminded of it whenever she sees her reflection.

Charlie is not prone to anger, and rather laughs off insults or slights rather than lash out. Her temper is a honed blade, tightly controlled. She is incredibly proud of this ability to keep her cool under pressure, and her smile when dismissing such things is almost more unnerving than her anger would be. Almost. Her temper, when unleashed, burns hot and furious, coming and going so quickly you may not realize what happened, largely because you'd be dead.

Charlie is immensely proud of her heritage, and is incredibly eager to please her aunt and live up to her expectations. The only fear she knows is failure, and Charlie does everything in her power to avoid that. She looks down on other species, seeing demons--especially war demons--as superior. She knows better than to say this out loud, though, especially to other royals.

She's surprisingly friendly and good natured for a demon outside of battle. While not always the best playmate, as she's fond of lording over others, she does her best to be as fair as she can be. Charlie enjoys conversations with others, though her quick wit and sharp tongue often mean she's more blunt and honest than accommodating. She quick to make jabs and point out the faults in others, generally with the intent of helping them better themselves, but also to remind them that she's ultimately superior to them.

History:

Charlie was born to the royal house of War. From the time she was old enough to walk she was trained in battle. This, at times, could be intense and merciless. OFten she wasn't allowed to sleep until mastering the day's lesson. While her father was never violent with her, he was harsh and demanding, and this tempered Charlie into the warrior she is today.

Now full grown, but still young for a demon, she's eager to prove herself and earn the praise of her father and aunt.
