The passive use of air magic to prevent droplets of rain from soaking her like a wet animal was already making Ève feel incredibly tired in spite of her best efforts to maintain her energy. To say the least, The diminutive dancer-mage was utterly relieved when she spotted a cave just behind a nearby waterfall. All she would need to do to pass through the waterfall while staying dry was exert one last push with her air magic against the falling water so that she could enter the natural structure and recuperate before covering the last few miles to Sirithell when it was dry.
With a deep intake of air, Ève closed her eyes and slowly began to gyrate her hips in a circular fashion in order to facilitate the flow of vikta through vikta throughout her curvaceous form. Suddenly, her magic manifested itself above her as a powerful torrent of air pushed upwards against gravity to repel all objects that sought to fall upon her from above. The mage passed through the waterfall untouched by the falling water before abruptly releasing the spell with a deep gasp of exhaustion.
Ève was a very young mage and her ability to maintain an ample supply of vikta was not yet developed to a strong extent. Even casting a few mundane spells in quick succession was enough to tire her out. As such, the short-statured mage let herself drop to the floor in a controlled fall so as not to hurt herself. However, upon glancing at her surroundings within the cave, Ève realized that she had stumbled upon someone's home and that she was in fact, a guest.
"Oh, gosh...I'm such an idiot..." The dancer-mage muttered softly to herself. As far as she could see, the cave's inhabitant was not home. However, she didn't want to surprise whoever it was by looking like a thief caught in the act. To that end, Ève laid back down on the cold and hard ground near the entrance to the cave. Then, she closed her eyes and waited for whoever lived within the cave to arrive...
