"Of course you'll see me around," he teased her as he watched her amused. He smiled anslightly tilted his head playfully tapping his chin as he thought about her suggestion for how he should respond to her getting pricted. "Everytime they draw blood I'll kiss the spot for you" he said finally agreeing to her terms for the most part.

He then turned and waved. His hand had reached down to grab his papers. "I'll see you soon Lia and don't hide... Our clothing specialist will find you and even I believe she finds amusement in sticking people at times. Partially me..." He grumbles the last bit as he walked off to check on his son and to make sure the servant had taken the boy enough food. He ate so much but he was a growing boy.

The girl had given him a lot to think on about the gods. If only they had an oracle to talk to about this to communicate with the gods. Sadly all they could do was theorize at the moment.

Lia smiled amused that he was willing to play the little game with her. She had only expected the number of stabs to correspond with the number of times he would kiss her, but where they poked her was even better. She had thought of it, but thought it was too soon to play something so intimate like that. She was going for innocent, but she liked the direction he was going in.

Unfortunately he had to leave and it saddened her a bit, but she would see him soon and that was enough to quell her. For now she could go read until the seamstress came by to start poking her with needles. "Don't worry. For all the times they poke you, I'll return the favor." She smiled a bit as she watched him walk away and sighed. Lia finished a few bites of her meal and went off to the library to read until her inevitable fate arrived.

Razor went down the hall having left her. Her words bringing him one final small as he made his way towards his son. He made sure he looked proper then entered the room. "Hello Vion" he said looking at his boy. "Are you well? Did you get enough to eat?"

His eyes noticed the books and the slight mess that always came with his son working so hard. He always tried so hard to please his father. Razor wondered if the boy ever realized all he wanted was for his little boy to be happy. "What are you learning about?"

(Had permission to power play)

Vion had his nose down in a book as he was trying to read more about the demon history and how they all came to be. He liked these stories a bit more seeing as they were interesting to say the least compared to other parts of history. It was boring having to remember all the clan names and leaders, generals, and anyone of importance. At least this was more like a story rather than hard memorization. Vion glanced up at his father as he entered. A huge grin swept his face as the book no longer held any interest. His attention was solely on his father. "Hi Daddy!"

He wiggled a little in his seat from excitement. He loved seeing his father and with him always gone or attending to something else, these moments meant the most. "I ate enough. The servants made sure I was well fed like always. I even got a little dessert this morning too!" he replied with another huge smile. The boy closed the book he was reading, marking the page he was on with his hand so the book didn't completely close, but was mostly shut as he held it up to his father to see. "I'm reading about our history. Did we really come from angels?"

RE: Until Silence Is Broken - Andromeda - 02-24-2017

"We did, and they don't like us to forget it either," he told his son with a sigh. "Angels either hate us or feel like we're lost and need saving to come back to the path of light." He rolled his eyes showing his annoyance at the idea that any angel thought they could save him. He didn't want nor need it from anyone. It was amusing the first few times but his patience had gone way to thin for such things now.

He walked in and hugged his son. "I'm glad you are well though," he said pulling away as he looked down at the book. "This is a good place to start though. We came from Light angels or so they say... My mom would have known for sure but sadly she didnt last long after I became a little bit older then you. Me and my sibling had been left on our own."

Vion had been happy seeing his father once more and welcomed his warm embrace with joy. He knew how much his father had despised the angels and it showed even in his few sentence description. Despite this, Vion knew nothing of angels. He only knew from reading the books dad provided and the stories from either dad or a servant if they were brave enough to mention them to the young prince in fear of his father's wrath. They all seemed so nice in text, but he had yet to meet one to experience the hatred or need to save them his father had. It always puzzled him, but he knew better than to question it.

The young boy looked back down at his book and then at his father. Dad had been close to his age when his mom left.. He never mentioned his father. It was almost like him, except the genders switched. It was eerily similar to his father and him... "Dad..." He piped up quietly. "..You won't leave me, right?"

RE: Until Silence Is Broken - Andromeda - 02-27-2017

"Why do you think I will leave you," he said looking at his little boy confused. His brow furrowed as he gently stroked the side of his head trying to calm him. "I will never leave you....Never. My mother left me only because the angels took her away... My father then was killed by his...." He cut off not really wanting to get into it. It was clear he didn't really like thinking about his parents, but he loved them. It was clear in his eyes. He missed them. True his father had not been as big of a force as his mother had been, but that was only because his mother was the leader and his father was more of her mate. Everything he had learned, he had from his mother.

He looked upon his innocent child. He didn't want him to ever know what it was like to lose him. That had hurt him deeply when his mother past, his sister's betrayal, and then his father's death. He had been thrust upon the throne at a very young age and never really knew what it was like to grow up because of the tasks given to him. The throne was the only life he really knew. He was trying to give Vion a bit of freedom where he could. "Hey... How about today we go get you a fox?"

RE: Until Silence Is Broken - Achera - 02-28-2017

"Cause you were... When I am... and..." The boy stumbled a bit as he tried to explain what was going on in his little head, but the words didn't want to come out. Instead, a few tears gathered in the corner of his eyes. His father was his entire world... The mere thought of losing his world at his age was enough to draw the child to hysterically crying. He wasn't far off, but dad was with him and it bayed the waterworks, or bloodworks in his case, at the moment. He nuzzled into his fathers hand just wanting comfort. He knew nothing of his mother. Only of his father.

He glanced up at his father, looking a bit doe-eyed as he tried to understand what he was saying. When the realization sunk in, the boy gave a huge grin. The blood that was teasing at the corner of his eyes dried as he looked to his father in pure happiness. "Really?? Can we go? Please dad can we??"

RE: Until Silence Is Broken - Andromeda - 02-28-2017

Razor nodded and gently patted the boy's head. The tears had been pushed back and that was all the demon needed. He smiled as he held the boy to him enjoying the moment. He was such a good boy. He walked over to the boy's closet and pulled some clothes out that were casual and meant for traveling under more regular biases. It would be more comfortable for him to go in this. He held the close out for his son. "Go on and get ready and we can go to get you a fox. I promise you can pick out the color and all. I know a guy that breeds and sells them," he told him.

At least he could do something right. Even if it was small.

RE: Until Silence Is Broken - Achera - 02-28-2017

Oblivion squealed with happiness as he took the clothes from his father. "Thank you daddy!" Before he could say anything else, the boy ran off to go get changed. He was beyond excited he was getting his pet already. Dad warned him it might be awhile, but he didn't think it would be this soon. Had it been a day? Maybe two? He wasn't completely sure, but he wasn't going to question it. Dad said he could get his fox and it all he wanted.

The boy changed into the clothes his father picked without question and returned to his side quickly enough. There was no way he would give his dad time to retract on that statement. They were going and that was final. If needed he'd cry. Dad always gave into him for the smallest things, but he normally didn't unless he really wanted something. "I'm ready daddy," he exclaimed to him as he returned to his father's side.
