Durability: Made with an alloy of meteorite iron and depleted elemental stones, AMG is resistant to many forms of harm. This extends to the manner in which it is made, possessing redundant runes so that it can continue to operate even if most of its form has been destroyed.<br />

Strength: AMG has physical strength greater than that of a human of the same size. It can expend stored vitka to achieve greater strength<br />

Vitka Absorption: This model of golem seems to be able to devour Vitka at a rate that nullifies most forms of magic. If absorbing from a living target, this can be fatal however it must have direct contact with the target and the vitka from a target directly is more difficult to off-gas. It must off-gas the excess vitka. Should it absorb more than it can handle, it will shut down or even detonate. This off gassing process takes longer in vitka rich environments, while in environments where vitka is more scarce it is more efficient.<br />

Artificial Healing: By using excess absorbed vitka, AMG can heal similar to most biological organisms, with similar restrictions.<br />

Durability: Made with an alloy of meteorite iron and depleted elemental stones, AMG is resistant to many forms of harm. This extends to the manner in which it is made, possessing redundant runes so that it can continue to operate even if most of its form has been destroyed.<br />

Strength: AMG has physical strength greater than that of a human of the same size. It can expend stored vitka to achieve greater strength<br />

Vitka Absorption: This model of golem seems to be able to devour Vitka at a rate that nullifies most forms of magic. If absorbing from a living target, this can be fatal however it must have direct contact with the target and the vitka from a target directly is more difficult to off-gas. It must off-gas the excess vitka. Should it absorb more than it can handle, it will shut down or even detonate. This off gassing process takes longer in vitka rich environments, while in environments where vitka is more scarce it is more efficient.<br />

His storms do not instantly spread and just take over the skies, but rather grow the more he releases. He can't overtake miles and miles with storms, so they only take up the local area. The more area he takes up, the more effort it takes, logically. He also can't just make them dissipate at a whim. Once he's released storm, when he stops feeding it, it will dissipate on it's own, but with time as it follows its natural course. He may attempt to influence a strong storm to lessen it, but it can be incredibly difficult to redirect or change violent storms once they've taken on a nature of their own.<br />

Most upon first sight unable to tell him from male to female. Dexter's body is rather chimera-like, possessing both soft scales and furs in some places. It is difficult to tell which areas are fur and which are scale unless one touches them closely. He does not look particularly muscular either, possessing slightly feminine curves around his hips. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;" class="mycode_align">His coat is all around different shades of grey, with a large portion of his fur being a pale grey/off white color, to his darker shades being a normal grey, and dark grey markings. His ears are flopped down, similar to a dog's ears. His insides are a yellowish color while his eyes are a pale blue. He has mane styled as hair on his head, and his tail is fully fur. </div>

So when Dexter was presented to his grey scaled father hoping that he would assist his mother in her time of need, he denied her and told her to get rid of the child since she couldn't produce him a rightful heir, a son. Dexter was left behind in an orphanage far from his father's kingdom.</div>

Ever since he was able to speak he always told others that he was a male. Thankfully the more he grew, the more others began to become more accepting his label. Through out his life he struggled to look the way he wanted to look, masculine. He had little control of his life, even while he studied magic. Everyone around him pushed and pressured him to do so much and he aged slowly by a wolf's standards.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;" class="mycode_align">Dexter's appearance upon first glance is easy to see that their appearance gives off rather confusing glances from others. Most upon first sight unable to tell him from male to female. Dexter's body is rather chimera-like, possessing both soft scales and furs in some places. It is difficult to tell which areas are fur and which are scale unless one touches them closely. He does not look particularly muscular either, possessing slightly feminine curves around his hips. </div>
<div style="text-align: center;" class="mycode_align">His coat is all around different shades of grey, with a large portion of his fur being a pale grey/off white color, to his darker shades being a normal grey, and dark grey markings. His ears are flopped down, similar to a dog's ears. His insides are a yellowish color while his eyes are a pale blue. He has mane styled as hair on his head, and his tail is fully fur. </div>

So when Dexter was presented to his grey scaled father hoping that he would assist his mother in her time of need, he denied her and told her to get rid of the child since she couldn't produce him a rightful heir, a son. Dexter was left behind in an orphanage far from his father's kingdom.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;" class="mycode_align">Dexter at an early age never really felt comfortable with being labeled as a female. Ever since he was able to speak he always told others that he was a male. Thankfully the more he grew, the more others began to become more accepting his label. Through out his life he struggled to look the way he wanted to look, masculine. He had little control of his life, even while he studied magic. Everyone around him pushed and pressured him to do so much and he aged slowly by a wolf's standards.</div>

The ability to breath fire came to him much by accident and to his surprise when he accidentally burnt a good portion of his clothing. Some spots of fur began to fall off and transform into scale plating and his muzzle shifted into one of a dragon.</div>

"While Glimmer says I'm happy without you, she doesn't know the whole truth. As soon as she was old enough to walk, Pherae was taking Aolani on all manner of adventures, and he was very fond of showing off to her during his training sessions with their mother. Despite their age difference, the two were extremely close, and considered to be best friends by many.</div>

Charlie threw herself into battle, poised to take out a great number of angels in her wake. Pherae rushed out to meet her in order to buy his troops more time. Their battle was ferocious, and came to a bloody end when Charlie drive a blade into Pherae and ripped the pearl out of his very throat. He bled out as he thrashed for his life, though he managed to take out several demons in the process; though Charlie survived.</div>

<span style="font-style: italic;" class="mycode_i">Arcane Magic - Summoning:</span> Hajra can call beings of other dimensions to do her bidding. This magic requires a large amount of preparation, and must be performed perfectly to work. Each creature is summoned by a specific sigil, chant, and use of magic. Summoning a creature requires knowledge of that creature’s Summoning spell, or trying random patterns until a creature appears. Once a being is summoned, it must be bound, though binding spells are often worked into the Summoning spell for greater safety. Binding spells must contain greater power than the creature they are binding, and so more powerful beings are often summoned by multiple sorcerers (however, the creature is usually bound to only one). Once bound, the creature can be called into service at any time, or even remain by the caster’s side.<br />
Summoned creatures are always fully bestial in one form and mostly human in the other, although all of their forms will retain some mark of their true nature. Some summoned creatures, called familiars, can also shapeshift into a variety of smaller animals. These creatures are not very powerful, but they help their summoner to see magic and spirits and often act as messengers. Hajra’s familiar Thostramor is a spiky reptile about the size of a dog, resembling a mix between a dragon and a toad in his true form. In every form, he retains a forked tongue.<br />
<span style="font-style: italic;" class="mycode_i">Arcane Magic - Portals:</span> Hajra can create small portals that lead into a personal pocket dimension. The pocket dimension is airless, so she cannot stay there long, but she can use it to store precious items and to transport herself from place to place. She cannot create portals directly from one place on Antarsia to another, but she can make a portal into her pocket dimension and a portal out of her pocket dimension to any location on Antarsia. Creating these portals is relatively simple, requiring only a short chant. Because the pocket dimension is airless, Hajra also enchants small sticks to open the portal when broken by her hands, when she has the intention of opening the portal. This keeps the sticks from opening a portal when they or stolen, or when one snaps by accident.<br />
<span style="font-style: italic;" class="mycode_i">Shapeshifting:</span> Hajra has the ability to shapeshift into a black mamba snake with a silver underside.<br />
<span style="font-style: italic;" class="mycode_i">Knives:</span> Hajra is skilled at wielding knives, whether they be throwing knives or short, bladed weapons like daggers.<br />
<span style="font-weight: bold;" class="mycode_b">Appearance:</span> A tall and willowy woman with dark, nearly black skin and her black tresses separated into dreadlocks. Stern silver eyes peer out from over prominent cheekbones, a flat yet slightly hooked nose pointing downward to a sharp chin.  Her lithe frame is covered with compact muscles and thin scars silvered with age. Silver jewelry covers her, twining around her hair, hanging from her long ears, and piercing her nose. This magic requires a large amount of preparation, and must be performed perfectly to work. Each creature is summoned by a specific sigil, chant, and use of magic. Summoning a creature requires knowledge of that creature’s Summoning spell, or trying random patterns until a creature appears. Once a being is summoned, it must be bound, though binding spells are often worked into the Summoning spell for greater safety. Binding spells must contain greater power than the creature they are binding, and so more powerful beings are often summoned by multiple sorcerers (however, the creature is usually bound to only one). Once bound, the creature can be called into service at any time, or even remain by the caster’s side.<br />
Summoned creatures are always fully bestial in one form and mostly human in the other, although all of their forms will retain some mark of their true nature. Some summoned creatures, called familiars, can also shapeshift into a variety of smaller animals. These creatures are not very powerful, but they help their summoner to see magic and spirits and often act as messengers. Hajra’s familiar Thostramor is a spiky reptile about the size of a dog, resembling a mix between a dragon and a toad in his true form. In every form, he retains a forked tongue.<br />
<span style="font-style: italic;" class="mycode_i">Arcane Magic - Portals:</span> Hajra can create small portals that lead into a personal pocket dimension. The pocket dimension is airless, so she cannot stay there long, but she can use it to store precious items and to transport herself from place to place. She cannot create portals directly from one place on Antarsia to another, but she can make a portal into her pocket dimension and a portal out of her pocket dimension to any location on Antarsia. Creating these portals is relatively simple, requiring only a short chant. Because the pocket dimension is airless, Hajra also enchants small sticks to open the portal when broken by her hands, when she has the intention of opening the portal. This keeps the sticks from opening a portal when they or stolen, or when one snaps by accident.<br />

These rifts that opened were created by the unusual surge of Vitka that had been channeled by one force. A force that remains unnamed, and unknown even to the gods. They set out to do the impossible. And that has been accomplished, the dead are rising from all across the world, and from all timespans. Their bodies restored by the gift of flowing Vikta from the deceased Life oracles.<br />

What this means in practice is that she can deliver a nasty left hook or rake an opponent’s flesh, or defensively use her forearm to “catch” lighter weapons if there is nothing else she can do to mitigate the blow.<br />

Combat potency (or lack thereof?): As far as demons go, Diri is rather weak.  She lacks intimate knowledge of blades or any weapon in particular. 			<description><![CDATA[Have an idea for a character and all you need to do is make that character thread? Make sure you are familiar with these rules before creating a character to use in the forums; we cannot approve any character applications that do not meet these rules.<br />

1. All rules of the site and roleplay still apply here.<br />

2. On the subject of last names:<ul class="mycode_list"><li>Last names can be awarded to a character by an important entity, such as a God, Oracle, or Royal through a special ceremony<br />
</li>
<li>Last names can be inherited through family<br />
</li>
<li>A character may give themselves or make up a last name, but it is unofficial and will not be truly recognized<br />
</li>
<li>For most others, their last name is simply [father's name]son or they do not possess a last name.<br />

3. Do not create a Mary Sue character; that is, your character cannot be absolutely perfect. Everyone has a weakness of some sort, and we wish to reflect that here.<br />

4. Your character may not have abilities that allow them to godmod or powerplay over others. <br />
<br />
5. You may not create a God, Oracle, or Royal unless you have applied for and been accepted into a plot position. If you create one of these beings, your app will be rejected.<br />

6. When posting a character app, please use the template we have provided in the Guidebook and in the character creation thread. You may add anything you want to to this form, but you may not take anything out of this form. Without it, we cannot approve your character!<br />

7. If you host your character pages somewhere else, you still need to make a thread here, but all you need to do in your thread is link your character page.
