Another day, and still little was accomplished. The thick of the forests held creatures of various forms, each more deadly than the next. From the shadows dwelled a shadow hiding amongst the others. She stayed as hidden as possible through the dark thicket of the death kingdom. Word had reached of a dear friend who had been caught in the most recent war. She had to go and see if he was okay. She tried to stay away from the wars as best she could, but her friend was somehow in them. If he'd had listened to her, then maybe it would not have happened, but either way it did. She just needed to find him. The girl ran through the thicket, listening for the raging sounds of the fighting going on. She hated it and yet she was compelled to move forward. "Where are you..." She whispered to herself as she continued on.

She emerged from the thickest of the forest to a small town off in the distance. With the rate she was going, she should be there soon and could camp out until she knew more about where this war was going or if it was still going on. Besides, she liked traveling at night better. Maybe a small rest wouldn't be so bad. The girl pulled the cowl of her cape up as she proceeded to the town to recharge and stock up on supplies.

The Lord was near the front lines. He wasn't in the war though. The second he joined, the royals from the angels would come. They didn't want to upscale the war. But he wanted to keep those goody goody angels from trying to 'save' him. Some of them still sent letters after all this time telling him it would be okay. They could save him. Some asking who the Oracle was. He wasn't sure. He didn't know... The demons had not had an oracle for a while it seemed. Even though the Angels had theirs... Where was his?

He snarled softly as he watched his troops get ready. He was curious what they thought of the war, but didn't ask. He didn't want to frighten them with his blood lust. He loved this war and everything it stood for. Maybe one day they'd be free...

The demoness finally had managed to make it towards the town, exhausted after a long trip. Still, there seemed to be so much to do. She hadn't the faintest idea where he might be and yet he could be anywhere but why was he in Death? There was no reason for him here or at least she didn't know why. Hopefully she could find him and get out, but right now it didn't look so good. Not too far off were the troops gearing up. The familiar sent of death, metal, and blood filled her nose. She hated this sometimes mainly because she wasn't meant for this. Her family taught her that long ago.

She scurried off to find one of the inns for the night. With the troops around here, it would be hard for a bed or even much food. Damn it all. Maybe it would be best to keep going on.

Razor was nearest the demons that were not from his kingdom. Sure he was glad they had come but he questioned their motives at times. Why were they so willing to help him? He tapped his finger on his arm as he watched one demon in particular. What was he doing here? He could sense a strange feeling upon him as his neck hairs rose. Why did he feel like they were being hunted?

He grinded his canines and narrowed his amber eyes. Who was coming? "Troops prepare yourself," he said. "Soon we'll be seeing angel's blood cover our weapons and our land. They need to learn no cure exists. We are not savages...and we are not cursed. We are what we are."

The girl had little luck finding a place for the night as she figured. There wasn't much with troops around, but she could always camp out somewhere else away from this nonsense. Maybe it was best that way. She'd be left alone but with a fight imminent... Lia backed up the sack she had with what food she could gather on such a short notice and looked to the troops. He had to be here somewhere. "That fool," she hissed to herself and set off to weave through the troops to locate her friend. With any luck, she could get him out of here. That is, if he even was here to begin with...

Razor could sense someone moving about the camp. They didn't belong to any troop. They were too soft.. As if not wearing any armor at all. He knew these boys were all covered so it wasn't one of them. He gave a curt nod to a soldier nearby and silently moved off. He too wasn't wearing any armor as he was giving the commands today. It was a game of who had the biggest troops with the angels. He silently followed the strange figure and once he was within arm's distance he reached out and grabbed her arm with a firm grip.

"And just who might you be," he said giving the figure a rather sharp tug as he enclosed his fingers around the small arm.

The girl tried to feel out for her friend but before she could notice, a firm grip stopped her dead in her tracks. The touch snapped her back to reality, and her body a bit jolted. She glanced up at the person who grabbed her, not too amused by this. However, she could tell by his demeanor he wasn't someone to mess with. She gave an opposing tug trying to get out of his grasp with no avail. What did she expect? He could break her in two with no effort. Lia just huffed as she looked up at him.

"No one of importance," she replied. "May you please let go? It's not nice to hold a woman as such."

"It's also not a good idea to speak to a Lord like that if you wish to keep your head," he said as he looked down upon her unamused at what was going on. Did he really just get lip from a girl? The corner of his lip twitched, wanting to pull back to show fangs. For now he'd keep his cool. He tilted his head looking at her. His eyes seemingly unnatural as they held no emotions at the moment. "What are you doing here so close to start of the battle looking like a love sick puppy? Who are you looking for? Surely you know you're risking your own life coming here so close to the call?"

He let her go, but he crossed his arms making it clear he could easily grab her again should he desire too. This was just a formality so she could talk and explain herself. "So talk."

Well shit. Of course the one person she decided to mouth off at would be the Lord. This is what she got for interfering. Damn the Gods for giving her this fate. At this rate, there was no helping her. Maybe the angels were right. They were all cursed, but from the looks of it she was more so than most. She took back her arm and pet the area that he grabbed her a bit more out of comfort than to see if she was hurt. She hated being touched liked that, especially without her knowing.

"I was looking for a dear friend my Lord," she replied trying to keep herself in line. She didn't like having to explain herself. "I didn't know if he was here for sure..." Judging by this guy, he would scoff and have her taken away. The girl tried to look for a way out, but the chances of her getting out where slim to none at the moment. He wasn't going to like her answer. She could tell.
