Gil put his number in her phone again, then handed it back to her. "Sounds like a good idea. There's nothing else I need right now."

~~

Inanna sighed. "For my tribe, at least, the reason is that we will not last too much longer alone. We are smaller than some, and the smaller tribes are always at risk of disappearing. If it falls apart now, everyone will suffer."

Roma smile and pocketed her phone and made her way to the restaurant and got them a table. She ordered some water and paid for his meal as well. She was treating him since well he was taking care of her. It was only right. "So what where you up to these last few days since I couldn't call you like you wanted," she asked playfully. And as if reminding herself she sent him a text so he could call her if needed.

-x-

"Yeah," he said softly. "And the way things have changed doesn't help much either... every one is suffering." He admitted  softly. He knew the 'big' ones were not as big as they pretended. It was hurting them all.

Gil grinned. "Well, did pretty well in the match. I won't bore you with the technical complexities, but needless to say my shots went right where I wanted them to. Actually had to intentionally miss my mark a few times to make it look real. Humans get suspicious of anyone who gets too good." He stood up to get and load a plate, returning to the table after a moment.

~~

"That is why we are here, is it not? We are not angels or demons. They are thriving in the human ascendancy. We are not. If we do not band together now, our race will not survive." She frowned, thinking of the regularly humanoid races. Angels and demons were just fine, and kitsune seemed to be doing well in their areas of the world. She hadn't heard of any elves in a long time, but that didn't mean they weren't around. They blended in easily after all. "Sometimes I think the dwarves were the lucky ones. They could just leave the surface when humans spread."

She smiled at him. "I'd say you could teach me to shoot a bow and arrow but I can aim and fire. Technical words not so much," she teased as she returned to the table with mostly meat. To be honest an onlooker might think she was eating for two with how much meat she had. It was unusual for a girl her size. Or they thought her eyes were bigger than her stomach and she was just 'sampling'. "So how have you been this weekend? Besides the competition."

-x-

"To be honest I envy them as well.. I wish I could get away from all the humans but at the same time even though they are weaker some of their inventions have saved my life to an extent with their medical practices. Them being so fragile has helped with my own treatment," He admitted. "Do you ever wish you were a different species?  I'm curious? Sometimes I wish I was human since it'd be easier for me."

"Well, I spent most of Saturday waiting to hear from you. I stopped waiting when it got late, and just decided to relax for the rest of the day. Yesterday, I actually had to catch up on some coursework, and spent the rest of my time working on a few projects. Went and adjusted my bow again, since it gets messed up by my strength." He ate slowly, watching her more to make sure she was okay.

~~

Inanna thought for a moment, resting her chin on her fist as she pondered the idea. "Perhaps. Not being naturally toxic would be nice. I am unable to be around others without strain, after all." She frowned slightly. "If I had to choose a species, probably a kitsune or angel. Lifespan and ability to go unnoticed would be my primary factors."

"I'm really sorry about that," she said as she ate. Her eyes looked sad. "I wish I could've called you to let you know or something... at least now you have my number so you can teach out." She nodded towards his bag. "What did you get today?"

-x-

"I could see why but sadly if we're assuming my sickness carries over I think human still if not maybe angel," he told her smiling at her. She was cute in the right light.

Gil shook his head. "Don't worry about it. You did nothing wrong." When she mentioned his bag, he looked down at it and smiled slightly. "I'll show you what I got when we get back. It might help cheer you up a little more."

~~

"You have a point. Still, I would just like the ability to study and grow at my own pace. Humans always seem to be in such a hurry." She waved her hand slightly, almost as if the thought was exhausting.

RE: A Modern Adventure - Andromeda - 12-05-2020

"Oh? Now I'm curious what you got but I'll be good and wait," she said smiling at him softly. "So what are your plans for today once we get back? Anything you doing?"

-x-

"Yeah a hurry to die I think," he teased her smiling. "How about we get dressed and go do something that won't put me in a mild coma for the rest of the day?" He replied watching her. He was interested in her but he wasn't too into being weak for a while. It honestly made sex a pain, but not as bad as it uses to be but still bad.

Gil shook his head. "Just planned on keeping you company, I guess."

~~

Inanna rolled her eyes and stood up, putting her pants back on after a moment. "We need to work on that. I can probably find a way to keep you from getting knocked out so much."

RE: A Modern Adventure - Andromeda - 12-06-2020

"You know you don't have to do that right? I mean that is the job of the alpha male of the group to actually keep me... entertained," she said eating her food. She felt bad for taking up his time. He wasn't her keeper and technically that was Sin's job. "If you have other things to do it's okay..."

-x-

"I mean I've been working on that all my life," he said sighing. "So far no luck on that fix." He sighed and got dressed and fixed his hair. He looked okayish but it was easy to see the day was tiring him out alone. He was stable enough but mostly just for daily activities. It's why he was mostly a gamer.
