Inanna rolled her eyes again, quickly flicking open their chat and muting him for a moment. "Hush and listen. You do not need to act like I only occasionally acknowledge you. Believe me, I know you exist and like playing with you. If you do not stop pitying yourself, I will come over there and make you." She unmuted herself, then switched back to the game just in time to avoid a pair of fangs crushing her character. "Damn." She leapt up, then struck the spider boss between the eyes with her spear. "I lost rhythm. I have to focus on evading a bit." She spun around, avoiding the stomping feed and shots of webbing that tried to snare her, her fingers moving fast on the keyboard as she did a careful dance around the blows.

Deimos rolled his eyes at her before pulling aggro away from her so she could get her bearings. She was a bit much at times. "This isn't like you. Are you okay?" He quickly stabbed it in the eye once and darted up it's backfiring into the back of the neck to try to serve ti's head off its body. He hit it one more time and it finally laid dead. The earlier bosses were easy, and not much to worry about. It was the later ones that would take a long time to kill with all their mechanics. "You good little one?"
He was back to teasing her as if nothing was wrong.

Inanna paused as she looked over the loot from the win. Plenty to get her upgrades started. "You know I dislike when you devalue yourself." She pulled up her stats as she spoke. "Well, good news is that I have plenty to evolve my armor. Make it less terrible so I can afford to take a hit or two. Light armor at these levels sucks."

"I know you do but I am more honest about my condition than you seem to be willing to be," he said looking over at her. "Inanna it's not my body that is sick... It's my soul. My soul isn't strong enough for life and that's why I am always limited. My body is strong like my father's just my soul isn't. That is the honest truth. No medicine can fix it but it can lessen my side effects." He looked over the loot and started to upgrade. He suddenly remembered how much he hated starting over grinding in this game. There was so much to do that one could get lost in it. "As for light armor... That was totally a choice you made. Live with it."

Inanna frowned again, even as she upgraded her armor. "You know I prefer speed over durability. It just is that... at such a low level my speed is not great enough to make up for it." She glanced over at her alchemy table in her room. "And I will tell you what. I will visit soon with something that might actually help you. You know I am a genius at this stuff." It wasn't said as a boast, merely a simple statement of fact. Inanna was good at potions, and she knew it.

"Okay just don't stress yourself out if it doesn't work okay? My soul has slowly got stronger over time," he said softly. He started looking through what else he'd need from this and sighed. So much to get still to be truly effective in this world. "Got a set time we can play each week? I like schedules... Blame my sister for that habit."

"I will get back to you on that. Team has not sent me the schedule yet." Inanna's mind already was wandering to her potions, and she typed absentmindedly to upgrade her gear. "Tell you what. Do you have class on monday?"

"Monday?" He seemed to think for a moment. "I have one early in the morning but then I'm off all day." He looked over at her with a curious emote. "Why do you ask?" He wasn't entirely sure what she was up to but he knew she was good at her job but.... He still had worries. This was also just something he had gotten use to over time.

Inanna gave a shrug emote. "So I can make the time to come visit. I have no Monday classes so far, so that gives me time to come by."

"That sounds fine... Are you good or do you need me for anymore grinding?" He was always a solo player at heart and would kinda venture off after a time. "Or do you need more upgrades?"
